While massage therapy can be pampering "me" time, it is so much more. Studies continue to prove medical, physical and emotional benefits of massage therapy. It can aid in the body feeling better, relieve discomfort and dysfunction, decrease stress levels which benefits many health issues to include fewer headaches, lower blood pressure better sleep, and more.
Touch is an essential element of who we are. As we adapt to the effects of age and illness, a massage that adapts to our changing needs can play a key role in health and well-being. I bring massage to seniors in assisted living homes, long-term care and hospice. Sessions combine one-on-one focused attention, intentional touch and sensitive massage along with specialized communication skills to enhance life for seniors throughout the aging process.
